In our role as consultant or expert witness, the experienced professionals at EEP&B are engaged by defendants and plaintiffs and their legal counsel for a variety of litigation support services that include:
- Offering testimony as to industry, accounting and
taxation standards.
- Providing creative solutions in mediation and arbitration
situations.
- Developing damages in contract disputes, business
interruption matters, personal injury cases and other
instances of business economic losses, matrimonial dispute
resolution and identification of separate and community
property, trust and estate accounting and inheritance
issues.
- Performing business/employee fraud investigations.
- Assisting with insurance damage claims, dissident
shareholder matters and other shareholder disputes, business
valuations including goodwill and other intangibles.
- Assisting legal counsel in the deposition of financial
witnesses and the structuring of claims for favorable
tax treatment.
- Serving as court-appointed accountants to generate or maintain accounting records.
