William Hoffman, CPA | Tax Group

It is with a heavy heart that EEPB has to inform you that Bill’s battle with cancer was unsuccessful. The Firm is sad to inform you that Bill was moved to hospice care and passed away August 11.  Bill was a dedicated professional and he loved his work at EEPB.  As a Firm we had hoped and prayed for Bill and the severity and suddenness of his decline has shocked us.
As a client we want to make sure you are aware that EEPB, P.C. has the professional resources to continue the high quality services which Bill has provided on your account.  Bill merged his accounting practice with EEPB in 1999 to assist with servicing clients and to work to ultimately transition his clients to younger professionals inside the Firm.  Many of you have worked with some of the younger CPA’s and other professionals at EEPB.  As the managing director of the Firm, I want to personally let you know that your tax and accounting needs will continue to be a high priority with the Firm.

Bill has been mentoring and training professionals within the Firm for several years and the following CPA’s will be available to assist with any questions you may have concerning your account with EEPB.

Steven L. Parkhill, CPA and Managing Director
Melvin “Bo” Brackendorff, CPA and co-founder of the Firm
Mary Jane Robinson, CPA, Tax Director
Jason Warren, CPA, Tax Director
Austin Clark, CPA, Tax Senior Manager
Candace Cogan, Tax Department Administration

Bill may have contacted you prior to entering hospice and notified you which professional he had assigned to your account. We want you to know that our senior leadership team at EEPB will be assisting with the transition of your account with the Firm.

Bill’s desire and goal was to have each of his clients remain with EEPB and our entire firm of 80 plus tax and accounting professionals are here and ready to assist with the transition of your work.

Bill was a great tax professional and we have been blessed by his work and dedication to the accounting profession. Bill was a fellow shareholder and friend and he will be missed.

Sincerely,

Steven L. Parkhill
